YaY 🙌🏼 A new multi-passionate weirdo to love. Carry on, especially with that Graphic Memoir (speaking to myself, too). Adore that top painting BTW and consumed most of the media you ate last year. More to come. PLUS you have an APE LOGO.
I'm glad you liked it... due to "uneasy times" and then a trip to Toronto to visit our daughter over Christmas, I was obliged to pull a Feed the Monster outta my ass in one sitting---not the way I normally do it! Still, it has its merits and has actually inspired me to rethink how I approach FTM. Just goes to show... YOU NEVER KNOW.
Keep sweet…gah, I needed about a thousand hot scrubbie showers after watching that… ! Love the energy in this post BA. I hope the next 365 treat you with kindness.
I really like this issue. I love the mind map drawing and I like all the stuff that is written out by hand. It feels very personal and its has an energy that is like a direct current to my tired old brain.
It looks like you had an amazing year, despite shitty shit. I heartily concur with your brain dump... mine is similar. Wishing you a fabulous year with ample art, good health, doing your stretches when you can, drinking water, and being just generally awesome. Great book and film lists! Thank you!
Enjoyed this issue! Also, I haven't read My Name is Lucy Barton, but have read Oh William! and got Lucy by the Sea for Christmas. Let me know if you want to borrow either! 🤓
Hi Trish! I'm not sure what wasn't working... was it the "share" button? Anyway doesn't matter... you can always just forward Angela the email you got---that seems easiest. Or if you're on the Substack website viewing the post, you can copy & paste the URL. Also, there is no "free month"---it's free forever if you wish it to be so. People who become paid subscribers do so out of the goodness of their hearts, or because they want to support what I'm doing. And I appreciate those people so, so much.

Thanks Smitty. Nothing like a good ole direct current to the tired old brain.
