As a journaling workshop guinea pig I wrote a couple of unsent letters. The first time I deliberately avoided writing the unsent letter that’s been festering in me for the past 18 months. It may have exorcised some negative feelings and thoughts, some residual anger I’ve been carrying around, but on the other hand I worried that it would just fuck me up. Ended up writing one to someone about something I had not really thought about - something good, positive. It functioned as a realization and left me feeling unexpectedly buoyed.
Beautiful! I love letters, sent and unsent! And I *wondered* what B.A. stood for!
